Client – Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority
Design – Plan E
Value $800,000
Completed :  April 2011

Work included:

The Kings Park Place of Reflection is designed especially for people to pray, contemplate and grieve for lost ones in particular those lives that were lost so soon. Funded by a large array of concerned people and organizations this project is very worthwhile and also very challenging my latest blog post.  Nestled in amongst existing trees and plants on the top of the Kings Park Ridge near Roe St Carpark, is a large covered  pavilion and contemplation decks along with paving and seating. Artwork and specialized lighting will enhance the overall effect of this special place.

Designed by David Smith of PlanE, this project is a fabulous example of the skill of great landscape design (and construction) working in and with nature to create a place of reverence and beauty.

Earthcare continues to deliver a  number of projects completed at King Park over a near 15 year period including the Water Garden and Memorial.  Completion is due in mid April.
